Upcoming Student Loan Forgiveness Workshop (and NEA360 Group)

October 11, 2017

We still have seats available in the Pre-Retirement and Student Loan Forgiveness Workshop in Allegan. If you have considered attending, please don’t delay in sending your email reservation.

This training is designed to familiarize members with the components of the MPSERS Pension Plus and Defined Contribution Plan, providing information about retirement eligibility, retirement options, and the application process. The second portion of the training is designed to familiarize members with a variety of options to reduce and/or eliminate their student debt. Members will be provided information and parameters regarding student loan forgiveness as well as financing and refinancing options available to members in good standing.

ALSO: My colleague, Kevin Marvin, moderates the MEA Student Loan Forgiveness Help Group on the NEA360 communities page. Similar to Facebook and other social media sites, it allows participants to ask questions and share experience over any topic you inquire about. He posts forms, directions, helpful hints, and available programs for school employees to find loan forgiveness. He is also available to answer any specific questions you may have. OPEN TO MEMBERS IN GOOD STANDING.
