Should I Stay or Should I Go Now?
The Covid-19 virus has made many members uncertain about whether or not to retire this year. With that in mind, MEA invites you to attend a special online Pre-Retirement Information Meeting (PRIM).
This PRIM will not only cover Michigan Public School Employees’ Retirement System (MPSERS) basics, but briefly explore Non-Duty Disability Retirement, retiring retroactively, and how to revoke a retirement application if you’ve changed your mind about retiring – three topics that are not covered in our standard PRIMs.

For security purposes, this meeting will require you to sign in to your zoom account to participate. If you do not have a zoom account, you can sign up for a free account using the following link: https://zoom.us/signup
Members in good standing* who are interested in attending should Click Here to register. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting. When you sign up, please complete all fields so that we can verify your MEA membership. The Zoom link will be sent out the day prior to the meeting and be sent to the email address that you provide when you sign up.
Your time is important, and the training covers quite a bit of information, so we will start promptly at 10:00 a.m. Consequently, we are asking that everyone log in to the Zoom waiting room between 9:45 a.m. and 9:50 a.m.
More trainings will follow in the weeks to come based on member demand and need.
